Free concerts at the Philharmonie
It doesn't come much better than the opportunity to experience one of Berlin's greatest cultural offerings entirely free of charge, and the Tuesday lunchtime classical music concerts at the renowned Philharmonie provide exactly that.
Featuring some of the city's finest musicians performing superbly curated 30-40 minute programmes, factor in the location - the wonderfully retro, early 1960s surroundings of the concert hall's foyer - and you're talking an event that's high on the list of Berlin's best in-the-know attractions.
Be warned, however, that the 1500 places are generally snapped up fast (standing room only, although you may find a perch somewhere on the stairs) so arrive early to bag yourself half an hour of musical bliss.
