Berlin
The Ziegenhof - goats and greenery
Tucked away on Charlottenburg's quaint Danckelmannstraße is the entrance to the Ziegenhof or 'goat courtyard' - a lush, hidden oasis beloved by local residents.
A cross between a city farm, green retreat and children's playground, the Ziegenhof's principal attraction is (unsurprisingly) a family of very friendly goats.
Housed in their own, Swiss-style chalet, they rub shoulders with a coop of well-fed chickens and love getting visits from kids both young and old.
In other words, it's well worth dropping past if you happen to be nearby with littl'uns in tow; perhaps visiting Schloss Charlottenburg, or simply exploring this surprisingly pretty, relaxed part of town.
Think of it as a goat-to family attraction.
